Prior to co-founding Haymaker in 2013, Mr. Mouratoff served as the CEO & COO of Cornerstone Acquisition & Management Company, where he structured and served as the Portfolio Manager of the Caritas Royalty Funds for domestic and foreign institutional investors. Prior to Cornerstone, Mr. Mouratoff served in numerous senior leadership roles at technology and financial services firms including UNX, Merrill Lynch, ING Barings, and Cameron-Lion Securities, and has held FINRA licenses 7, 24, 55 and 63. Mr. Mouratoff began his career as In-House Legal Counsel for Sequus Pharmaceuticals, a publicly traded biotechnology firm which later became a division of Johnson & Johnson. Mr. Mouratoff has a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.
Prior to co-founding Haymaker in 2013, Mr. Collins served in numerous reservoir engineering roles at firms including ExxonMobil, Goldman Sachs and Netherland Sewell, where he led technical evaluations of oil and gas assets across the U.S. and around the globe. Mr. Collins is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, with a B.S. in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering.
Prior to joining Haymaker, Mr. Moore served as Manager of Land and Business Development for Rio Oil and Gas II, LLC where he helped lead the sourcing and acquisitions as well as the day-to-day land function. Mr. Moore previously served in a similar role for the first iteration of Rio Oil and Gas, LLC. Prior to joining Rio Oil and Gas in 2013, Justin worked for Occidental Petroleum, holding various land negotiator assignments and ultimately transitioning into the business development group where he focused on asset transactions mainly in the continental United States. Justin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from The University of Texas at Austin where he was also a letterman on the football team (2005-2007). He currently serves on the IPAA Business Development Committee and is a member of the ADAM Energy Forum, AAPL, HAPL and PBLA professional organizations.
Prior to joining Haymaker, Mr. Monckton served as Director in the investment banking division at Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. where he spearheaded the firms mineral & royalty practice. Additionally, Mr. Monckton served as a quantitative analyst in the financial industry, with roles at Quantitative Risk Management (QRM), Bank of America, and Accenture. Mr. Monckton holds B.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics from Southern Methodist University as well as a M.S. degree in Financial Mathematics from The University of Chicago.
Prior to co-founding Haymaker in 2013, Mr. Brensike served as the Senior Managing Director of Cornerstone Acquisition & Management Company, where he helped develop and launch the Caritas Royalty Funds, the industry’s first and only vehicle that managed a leveraged, hedged, and audited royalty portfolio for domestic and foreign institutional investors, offering semi-annual liquidity. Before Cornerstone, Mr. Brensike worked at its parent company, the Argent Funds Group, where he held FINRA licenses 7, 24, 55, and 63. Prior to Argent, Mr. Brensike was the CEO of netHESIVE, Inc., a venture-backed software company specializing in artificial intelligence-based search applications that merged with Channel Intelligence, Inc. in 2001 which was later acquired by Google. Mr. Brensike currently serves on the board of the Independent Producers Association of America (IPAA) and is a graduate of the University of Southern California, with a B.S. in Business Administration.
